Our Brian Ranch instructors have been training pilots for more than 20 years.

The FAA requires a minimum of 20 hours training, which includes:

  • 15 hours flight time
  • 5 hours solo
  • 2 hours cross-country
  • 10 takeoffs and landings
  • 1 solo cross-country of at least 75 nautical miles total distance, including 2 takeoffs and landings at an airport with at least 25 miles distance between the takeoff and landing locations
  • 3 hours flight training for the practical test
